150 years is a very special and monumental year in the school’s history. St. Andrew’s Schools requested a commemorative program for their Annual Queen Emma Ball that would honor it’s founder, Queen Emma, 150 years, and Hawaiian heritage while looking forward to the future. There was a very limited time frame and budget, no photos to reflect the new and innovative educational program and a new Head of School.
Design Solution: Our design team was actively involved in the planning and design of all parts of the program—from photography and copy writing to design and printing. The use of Hawaiian prints, textures and patterns were used to express the rich heritage of the school, Queen Emma’s timeless vision and itʻs place in Hawaiian history. With the limited budget, we were able to concept and art direct two full day photoshoots, acquiring the final imagery to showcase the emotion and interaction of the children, teachers and administration.
